High temperature cables in mineral fibre

Our high temperature electric cables withstand extreme temperatures. These cables have a bare copper, nickel-plated copper or pure nickel core with insulation and sheath braided in mineral textile fibre or fibreglass.

These high temperature cables are coated with a layer of resin or silicone, which interlocks the fibres and forms a high temperature insulating sheath.

Our high-performance thermal fibre braiding processes produce cables that operate continuously in temperatures of up to 1100°C. They are specially designed for all cabling applications in heavy industry: steelworks, foundries, glassworks and factories using industrial furnaces and machines subjected to very high temperatures.

Our ELECVER® range of high temperature cables is divided into 2:

  • control cables with voltages of 300/300V and 300/500V
  • 600/1000V power cables

They are available in single-core, multicore and shielded cable versions.

They are used primarily:

  • for industrial cabling in hot atmospheres,
  • for cabling furnaces and professional kitchens, and domestic heating appliances,
  • for resistance cabling and heater bands, machines for thermoplastics or rubber.

Numerous options are available to improve resistance to corrosive atmospheres and humidity, and to reinforce electromagnetic and mechanical protection.
