Established in 1961 by Mister Louis Tamet, Plastelec is specialised in concepting, manufacturing and marketing standard or specific electrical wires and cables: standard PVC and high temperature cables, high temperature silicones, polyethylene, halogene free, fluorinated polymers, fibre glass cables, etc... for industrial integrators, sub-contractors and distribution. Plastelec has been set in Ambert, heart of the natural Livradois Forez parc. The company has successfully been expanding during 50 years by investing in high value industrial tools and human skills in order to meet the markets needs through industrial solutions. Plastelec offers a well-known expertise in cable-making in different market fields :
In 2005, Plastelec took over CGP (cable activity of the MRI group set up in Saint-Chamond (France - 42) ). Our corporate staff reaches 160 people. All our activities are organised on 3 production sites with 34 000 sqm of buildings. In 2010, we have realized a consolidated turnover of 27 M€.
